CORRELATION OF SMARTPHONE ADDICTION WITH TEXT NECK SYNDROME DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Background: Smartphones pervasiveness has captured people with the ability to search for information, communicate more easily, and make our day-to-day jobs easier. On other hand, excessive smartphone use can also lead serious musculoskeletal consequences including neck pain disability. Objective: To determine correlation of Text-Neck-Syndrome addiction during COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: The cross-sectional study was conducted on n=500 participants both genders between 20 30 years olds. population were assessed text next syndrome Neck disability index, Visual analogue scale (VAS) Smartphone short version (SAS-SV) find problematic usage. spearmen test used Text Covid-19 Results: mean age 22.8±2.47 years. A total n=418(83.6%) female remaining n=82(16.4%) male participated in study. results showed that there is significant mild moderate positive (p<0.05) individual item score SAS-SV Conclusion: It concluded smart phone COVID 19 caused related functional impairment.
